the swedish label is back with a three tracker valvet studios production, featuring per hammars sound of dusty dub house. dixies dubb is a straight forward and warm cut with a good amount of chamber-sounding ingredients. argys take on the track is a timeless piece of dubby, stripped and sparkling techno. just as obvious as it is venturous. as the last track on the flip, we find severnaja, that takes us on a mission over an icy surface. the travelling bassline and overheated drums in symbiosis with the melody brings the listener to uninhabited places.

‘os orixas’ is rich in layered percussion, horns and guitars. singer eloah’s lead vocals are reminiscent of the likes of ellen mcilwaine, elza soares and joyce. samba, funk, folk, jazz and mpb over ijexa and african grooves, that combine beautifully across the moods. os orixas refers to one of the manifestations of the ’supreme god’ in the yoruba faith.
